In short
The app creates no account, requires no sign-up, and sends none of your personal data to its publisher. Your routes, sessions and settings stay on your phone.
The data the app uses
Your location
Used to place you on the map, work out where to join a ride, plan a route, guide you in real time, and record a session.
- Tracking continues with the screen off only while guidance or a recording is actually running, and stops as soon as you end it. iOS shows its blue indicator throughout.
- Recorded sessions (trail, distance, speeds, timings) are stored only on your phone, in the app’s private container. They are gone if you delete the app.
- The app has no server: we neither receive nor keep any of your positions.
What is sent to third-party services
To work, the app queries outside services. It sends them the minimum needed, with no identifier of any kind attached to you.
| Service | What is sent | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Routing service | Start and end coordinates of a route | Compute the route |
| Mapping service | Your position, your place searches | Draw the map, search an address |
| Roller associations’ own services | No personal data | Fetch the routes and announcements they publish |
Those services apply their own privacy policies.
The pnr.paris website
The website itself sets no cookies and loads no third-party service when the page opens. The Instagram section shows a preview provided by Meta, which is loaded only if you click “Afficher les publications”. That click then sends your IP address to Meta, which sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy. Without that click, nothing reaches it.
What the app does not do
- No account, no sign-up, no identifier.
- No advertising, no trackers, no analytics.
- No sharing or selling of data to third parties.
- No advertising tracking in the sense of Apple’s App Tracking Transparency.
Notifications
If you allow them, the app schedules reminders before rides and warns you about cancellations. These notifications are local, generated by your own phone. No remote push service is used.
Photos
The app requests photo access solely to add a session’s summary image to your library, when you ask it to. It never reads your photo library.
Your rights (GDPR)
Since no data leaves your phone for our servers, we hold no file about you. You keep control of your data at all times:
- View and delete your sessions from within the app.
- Erase everything by deleting the app.
- Withdraw permissions (location, notifications, photos) in iOS Settings.

Children
The app collects no personal data, regardless of the age of who uses it.
